I had a very old Schwinn Air Dyne from the early 80's and it worked fine but then it started to have issues because of its age and heavy use. A local gym had the FB300B and the owner invited me to try it out. It worked well so I bought one. It shipped to me and was easy to put together. I use it every day for one hour and try to get in at least 18 miles.
My only negative is I am a male and it sometimes is hard on the private area so a way to change the seat out might make it more comfortable to use. Time will tell how well it stands up to daily use. If you are looking for a good overall workout, both cardio and upper body resistance, this is a great piece of equipment. Daniel
Had a couple of minor issues getting set up but the customer service phenomenal. I love the resistance settings, perfectly replicates walking.
Pros: This thing is built like a tank. Everyone in the family has been using it daily with no issues. Customer service was very responsive and helpful. Emails were returned quickly (by the VP of sales). I love the adjustable magnetic resistance. It's very easy to simulate uphill climbs. Very stable, quiet and smooth operation.
Cons: Assembly was a little challenging but should not be an issue if you're mechanically inclined (having an additional person to help is HIGHLY recommended). A plastic trim piece rubbed against the belt which required light modification to its placement.
Overall, I am happy with the purchase. I gave it four instead of five stars because the treadmill does not seem to be properly lubricated, which causes squeaking during use. The installation is also challenging if you have no prior experience with such tasks, although it can still be assembled by one person with sufficient time and patience. I enjoy using it and would recommend it.
Its was easy to assemble, and its conveniently light to move in and out of the house . The firs 10 miles on this thing were not smooth. You need the steadyness of a mountain goat to run on this thing. The belt is aligned and centered but it bounces from resistance to free fall randomly. The brands i use at the gym are not this janky
