I received it very fast! Would've received it sooner but the snow prevented UPS from delivering it. When I first got it I had to center the belt, but so far its worked great for an under desk option that won't break like the ones with motors.
It seems no one can make a treadmill that is truly quiet enough to use in shared spaces. It's not unusually loud but I was hoping for a significantly a lower DB level at normal walking pace. The noise is also a little inconsistent and if not tuned perfectly there can be occasional distracting squeaks. I think this machine could reach a much larger market if they could get the noise level down. I don't understand why this is not a top priority for manufactures.
Other than that, this so far is a great machine for the price point. It natural to use at a slow walk or even sprint (but again, it's damn loud when running fast).
I tore my ACL and walking on a motorized treadmill hurt my knee. The manual treadmill does not hurt the injury and is helping me to regain the strength I lost while recuperating. It was packaged very well. Instructions were easy to understand. It does take two people to assemble. And, there is definitely a learning curve. Hold onto the railings!
I purchased this about a year ago (order #1246) and it has changed my lifestyle. I use it as the walking component of a walking desk (without the handlebars), so it gets use almost every single day, for 3+ hours a day, and it remains as good as new. Compared to an electric treadmill, it is better for balance, burns more calories, and requires zero maintenance or messy lubricant. I couldn't be happier and am grateful a company making affordable quality products in this category exists.
Verified purchase order #1502. Thoroughly impressed with the customer service involvement. Picking the appropriate treadmill, setup, and any questions/concerns. Customer service were diligent & quick on response. Simply reach out to the customer service representatives, and you will feel the company is about the product and not about the profit.
Thanks again, SB Fitness.
